If you don’t already have clients, you will need to be extremely patient & financially stable to see success as a financial advisor. Meaning, it is best to not quit your day job and/or have a 2nd stream of income during the early days to help prevent burnout.
Should you wish to forgo the selling of insurance or brokerage products, and serve clients in a fiduciary, fee-only capacity, you’ll need at a minimum the Series 65 license or a qualified exemption such as the CFP, CFA, or a combination of other series licensing (i.e. 7&66). As a team, we require a clean U4 & will compensate you with the private equity ownership of your practice + up to 90% of your productivity. We also help people launch their own brands if you’d rather go that route!
